Asbestos Awareness Training

Training improves awareness and increases safety. It lessens the costs of remedial work through avoiding accidental damage to asbestos materials. It ensures compliance with the Law, and greater knowledge protects you and others.

Our Asbestos Awareness Training covers the following topics:

  • All about asbestos and its effects on health, including its interaction with
  • smoking.
  • The types of buildings or materials likely to contain asbestos.
  • The actions which could result in asbestos exposure and the importance of preventive controls to minimise risk.
  • Managers’ duties and responsibilities
  • Asbestos Surveys and how to use them.
  • Safe work practices, control measures, and protective equipment.
  • Emergency procedures.

Flexibility:
The format of our training is flexible to suit your business and your people. We can deliver onsite training to several members of your team at once or we can offer live video link ups to training workshops for remote workers. We can also offer training at our state of the art training facility based in our Hartlepool Headquarters.

    G&A Environmental has been an affiliate of the BHOS since 2009.
    The BOHS is one of the biggest occupational hygiene societies worldwide and promotes the recognition, assessment and control of health risks from workplace exposure to hazards.
